This coming weekend we will be traveling to Dallas, Texas to support Audio Concepts with their event where they will be debuting the re-imagined Watt Puppy speakers. The Watt Puppy loudspeakers will be driven by the all new 861 Stereo Power Amplifier, and the 861 will be fed by the 812 DAC/Preamp and Headphone Amplifier.
Peter McGrath will also be giving a presentation about the history of Wilson Audio and share some lovely recordings with us. We look forward to seeing many of you there. Please visit Audio Concept’s website to reserve your spot for this event.
We will update this page after the event with more pictures so please keep an eye out next week for some shots.

Updates After the Event
The event went off without a hitch! Peter McGrath gave a wonderful presentation about the Watt Puppy Loudspeakers, and the 812 DAC/Preamplifier and 861 Stereo Power Amp drove them beautifully. The soundstage was spacious, detailed, and very accurate.
The Audio Concepts team had two other Boulder systems set up at their shop during this event. Both of which sounded stunning.
One system that we had the pleasure of hearing was comprised of the 1160 Stereo Power Amplifier, the 1110 Preamplifier, the 508 Phono Preamplifier, and a dCS DAC handling the digital front. We could have spent hours listening to this system, unfortunately, this is not why we were at Audio Concepts.
The final Boulder system that was on display at Audio Concepts was the 866 Integrated Amplifier with some Magnepan Loudspeakers. This system was located in the front of Audio Concepts, and it certainly helped drawn people in. Although it was simplistic, the sound was captivating!
We would like to thank the Audio Concepts team for putting on such a wonderful event, and for being such gracious hosts! We are very thankful to have such a wonderful dealer in the Dallas area. We were delighted to see that many members of the Audio Concepts team were so young. If you happen to be in or around the Dallas area, you should make a point to stop by this shop.
