We just got back from the Tokyo International Audio Show, and what an incredible few days it was! This year was extra special because we had the chance to show our brand-new 1151 Mono Power Amplifiers in Japan for the very first time. None of it would have been possible without the amazing support of our friends and partners at Axiss Corporation.
Axiss has had the same room at this show for years, so by the time we arrived for setup, everything was already beautifully dialed in. Their main Boulder system featured the 1108 Phono Preamplifier, 1110 Preamplifier, and of course, a pair of the new 1151 Mono Power Amplifiers—and it sounded fantastic.
Over in Hall 5D, we also had several other Boulder components on display, including the 508 Phono Preamplifier, 812 DAC/Preamplifier and Headphone Amp, 861 Stereo Power Amplifier, and the 1160 Stereo Power Amplifier.
We had such a great time chatting with customers and dealers, sharing what makes the new 1100 Series amplifiers so special, and—most importantly—listening to some truly great music together.
It was wonderful seeing so many familiar faces (and meeting some new ones too). Thanks to everyone who stopped by—we can’t wait to do it all again next year!
