While abroad on our trip to launch and promote the BRAND NEW 1151 Mono Power Amps, we made a stop in Taiwan to visit our distributor Bun Hong Trading Company. While here, our distributor took us to some shops in department stores that housed our amps, and to cap it off, showed us his absolutely STUNNING showrooms.
Our distributor in Taiwan has three different showrooms at his office that have been designed and arranged beautifully.
The sound-room pictured above was home to the 2150 Mono Amplifiers and powered a pair of Kharma Elegance Loudspeakers.
The room pictured above housed a few different products. It reproduced the recordings that we heard effortlessly and looked just as beautiful. This was the 2nd tier room that Bun Hong showed us and housed the 3060 Stereo Power Amplifier, the 2110 Preamplifier, and an 1110 Preamplifier. The 3060 Stereo Power Amplifier was used to drive the Kharma Exquisite Classique Loudspeakers.
The room pictured above was the most elegant sound-room that I have ever laid my eyes on, and it sounded even better. This room almost brought me to tears with how insanely accurate that it sounded. This room is home to the best of the best amplifiers that Boulder Amps can design. We listened to the legacy 2120 Boulder DAC, the 3010 Preamplifier, the 3050 Mono Power Amplifiers. These amps were used to drive the Kharma Enigma Veyron Loudspeakers.
The room above was in a department store underneath Taipei 101. At first it was shocking to see our products in a department store. However, the more I thought about it, the more I thought it was a great idea. Having our amps in a place with so much foot traffic allows for our amps to be seen by many more people. The small Mom & Pop shops that our parents took us into when we were young are few and far between. These shops in department stores put us in front of people from all walks of life, and if they sit down to listen, they will surely be impressed. In this shop in particular, the 866 Integrated was the only Boulder Amplifier on demonstration.
