Capital Audio Fest 2025

Last weekend, we had the pleasure of exhibiting at Capital Audio Fest for the first time. We’re incredibly grateful to our amazing dealer, JS Audio in Bethesda, Maryland, for storing our gear between their customer event and the show, and for bringing it along with them. We also want to extend a big thank-you to Harmonia Distribution for providing the cabling and furniture that helped us create a space that felt far more inviting than the typical hotel room at an audio show. And of course, thank you to the team at Ø Audio for sharing their room with us and for all of their hard work during setup and teardown. None of this would have been possible without the support of everyone mentioned above.

Our system featured components from several brands, with most of the electronics coming from Boulder Amplifiers. At the front end, we ran a dCS Rossini Apex DAC with its external clock into the Boulder 1110 Preamplifier, which then fed the new 1151 Mono Power Amplifiers. The 1151s drove the Ø Audio Icon 12 loudspeakers—marking the first time the 1151 Mono Power Amps have ever been exhibited at an East Coast show. All cabling and interconnects were supplied by.

Thanks to everyone involved, we were able to present a room that felt warm, engaging, and anything but “just another hotel room.” It not only stood out visually at Capital Audio Fest, but it also delivered sound that was incredibly detailed, nuanced, and impressively controlled in the bass. We were thrilled with how the room came together, and it was an absolute joy to play music there throughout the weekend.
