We want to give a HUGE “Thank You” to our distributor, Axiss Corporation, for helping us demonstrate, launch, and exhibit the brand new 1151 Mono Power Amps for the first time in Japan! We had a wonderful time here, and had numerous productive interviews and meetings.
We spent 2 days in Japan. One day was dedicated to an A/B Comparison of the 1151 Mono Power Amps with the 1160 Stereo Power Amp with a well known magazine reviewer. The other day was dedicated to a dealer event where we did the same comparison.
Pictured above is the entire Boulder Sales and Marketing department, Jeff Nelson (The Owner and Lead circuit designer of Boulder Amplifiers), a representative from MFD Audio in Japan, and the president of Axiss Corporation. We listened to the 1151s through the 1110 Preamplifier and the 1108 Phono Preamplifier. The 1151 Mono Power Amps were used to drive a pair of Fyne Audio Vintage Twelve Loudspeakers.
