Southwest Audio Fest 2025

Last weekend, we had the pleasure of exhibiting at Southwest Audio Fest for the second year in a row. Thanks to our amazing dealers, 3mA Audio and Reference Analog, we showcased three different systems across three rooms.

Room 1 (courtesy of Reference Analog):
This room featured a full 1100 Series system, including the 1108 Phono Preamp, 1110 Preamplifier, and the new 1151 Mono Power Amps, paired with an Aurender server, Brinkmann Taurus turntable, and Rockport Lynx speakers. Fun fact: this was the first US show to feature the 1151 Mono Power Amps, Rockport Lynx speakers, and a full Timbre Audio cable loom. Attendees and press praised this room as one of the best-sounding at SWAF 2025!

Room 2  (courtesy of Reference Analog):
Reference Analog also brought their 2160 Stereo Power Amplifier from Moore, Oklahoma to Dallas, showcasing it in a system featuring a VPI Avenger turntable, dCS stack, Aurender N30 streamer, Audio Research Reference 3SE Phono Preamp, Reference 6SE Preamp, and Rockport Orion speakers, all connected with Nordost cables.

Special thanks to Jon Zimmer from Rockport Technologies for meticulously positioning the speakers in these rooms, ensuring they sounded their absolute best!

Room 3 (Grand Presidential Suite, hosted by 3mA Audio):
This system included a dCS Vivaldi stack, Boulder 2110 Preamplifier, six REL Reference 31 Subs, Magico S5 speakers, the new 1151 Mono Power Amps, and Nordost cables. The 1151 Mono Power Amps performed flawlessly, staying cool even after four days of continuous operation thanks to the new Smart Current Output Stage.

If you missed hearing the 1151 Mono Power Amps at SWAF, be sure to catch us at Axpona with Quintessence Audio!
