The Music Lovers Audio team hosted a wonderful event a couple of weeks ago to exhibit the reinvigorated Wilson Audio WATT Puppys! We were happy to attend and had a wonderful time. Peter McGrath from Wilson Audio gave a wonderful presentation of the loudspeakers and played many wonderful recordings that really showcased how detailed and precise the Watt Puppys can be. Michael Fajen of Sierra Sound also gave a wonderful presentation about AMG Turntables. He and his son had a wonderful selection of records that sound absolutely stunning. Sierra Sound is the distributor for AMG Turntables in this region.
The Watt Puppies were driven by the the 1161 Stereo Power Amplifier and the 1161 was being fed by the 1110 Preamplifier. Feeding the 1110 was the 1108 Phono Preamplifier and a wonderful dCS stack. Feeding the 1108 was a brilliant AMG turntable.
Music Lovers also had two other rooms playing at the event and both sounded other-wordly. Their smaller room was home to the 508 Phono Preamplifier and 866 Integrated Amplifier driving a pair of Wilson Audio Sabrinas.The 508 was fed by another AMG turntable and the 866 was fed by another dCS DAC or the it was used as a Roon Endpoint. It was fun being able to compare the dCS DAC to our own.
The home theater room housed the 2160 Stereo Power Amplifier and was driving some Wilson Audio XVXs. This room blew me away! What the Music Lovers team was able to do with speakers that are typically only for dedicated two channel listening will certainly blow you away as well.
The event went off without a hitch, and we enjoyed some great drinks, some wonderful food, and some amazing sound systems. We would like to thank everyone at Music Lovers Audio for putting this all together and for being such gracious hosts, and thanks to all of the other representatives that came to help support our shared dealer!
